Examines the roles of physical activity and nutrition in the prevention and management of lifestyle diseases (e.g. cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes) from individual and population perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on physiological mechanisms of disease, assessment of disease risk, and appropriate physical activity, exercise and nutrition intervention for at-risk individuals.
