This course focuses on the sustainability of tourism’s relationship with the natural, social, cultural and built environments. Using case studies of the environments in which tourism occurs, students explore tourism’s role in our contemporary world, both as an agent of change, and as a response to it. Creative methods are used to think differently about the future of tourism impact management.
