This course aims to introduce business vocabulary and language skills in economy and foreign trade and develop students’ intercultural competency in business communication with Chinese speaking counterparts. It also develops strong understanding of and critical thinking and problem-solving skills in issues such as population, employment, agriculture, industry, economic development, foreign trade and policies in contemporary China and countries where Chinese is spoken.
