Speak Chinese II is for those who have completed Speak Chinese I (CHIN511) or equivalent. It expands students’ listening and speaking skills in Mandarin Chinese so they can communicate in culturally appropriate ways on practical and sociocultural issues. Students will explore their understanding of contemporary Chinese cultural practices, values and beliefs, and compare and contrast with their own.
