Mechatronics is the synergistic integration of mechanism, electronics, and computer control to achieve a functional system. This course will introduce technologies involved in mechatronics operational principles and the techniques necessary to apply this technology to mechatronic system design. Topics covered include sensors, signal conditioning, electrical machines and other types of actuators, and design and implementation of control of mechatronic systems.
